Home Remedies for Diaper Rashes

]Many parents find themselves dealing with the reoccurrence of diaper rashes on their baby.  This is a very common rash that forms due to all of the moisture on a baby’s skin and then forms a painful and red rash in their diaper area.  For many parents they find it hard to find the right ingredient to help with the common diaper rash and instead of using prescription topical, they have found themselves using a more natural way to element diaper rash through home remedies. Here are a few home remedies that you can use to eliminate and alleviate many common forms of diaper rash.

Cornstarch – also used in cooking, this is a very commonly used and popular form of diaper rash treatment. This is a very old home remedy that has been very widely used for years by many different countries around the world.  Cornstarch is so effective because it draws up any moisture that comes into the diaper, which is what causes ultimately the diaper rash to form.  Simply apply the cornstarch like you would baby powder in the diaper of your baby.  Use the same process through each diaper change and add an extra amount in the diaper for overnight relief for your baby.  You will find that within 24 hours of the rash showing up that it will be completely gone.

Aloe Vera – is another home remedy that can be used in the treatment of a diaper rash.  Aloe Vera cures many different skin disorders as well as skin rashes such as a diaper rash.  This is a very soothing gel that can be applied to skin for instant relief.  It also moisturizes the skin from damaging it from the rash.  Aloe Vera can be used either by extracting the gel directly from an Aloe Vera plant or you can simply purchase an Aloe Vera gel at your local pharmacy or nutritional store.  Both forms are very affective in the treatment of diaper rash, however, keep in mind that when purchasing the Aloe Vera gel that you make sure that it does not have higher levels of water or other solutions than Aloe Vera as this will not be as effective.  Simply apply the gel to the affected area of skin and leave it on the skin until it dries.  Repeat this process through each diaper change and in little to no time at all you will see results and your baby’s diaper rash completely eliminated.

Vaseline – this is also a very popular and commonly used home remedy to cure diaper rash.  This particular home remedy has been used for ages in many different countries and parts of the world in the treatment of diaper rash.  Vaseline keeps moisture from reaching the irritated skin and therefore giving the skin time to dry and clear up.  Vaseline also helps with many different skin disorders and skin rashes and helps to alleviate redness and irritation to a particular part of skin.  Make sure that when you apply Vaseline that you apply in very generously.  Too much is never enough when it comes to soothing the aching pains and discomfort due to a diaper rash for your baby.  Repeat this process for every diaper change and within hours you will see results and improvement in your baby’s diaper rash.
